48 cameras

48 Cameras are known as an international & musical project of variable geometry (Belgium, Monaco & United Kingdom for now). Some of its members never met the others. During the past years, this co-operative of musicians & non musicians recorded 9 official albums & welcomed guests - mostly via Internet - coming from various countries, cultures & disciplines, guests as Rodolphe Burger, Sandy Dillon, DJ Olive, Michael Gira, Tom Heasley, Gerard Malanga, Charlemagne Palestine, Vesica Piscis, etc. This methodology has led to a kind of domino theory effect creating an ever increasing network of contributors & an ever evolving series of musical accidents. Some of its members also appeared on various side-projects. Thus, David Coulter & Jean Marie Mathoul recorded an album with Charlemagne Palestine & another one with Charlemagne Palestine & Michael Gira. Art Abscons - Am Himmel Mit Feuer - €13,00

art.jpg

Art Abscon

is a mysterious individual lurking in the twilight of a mask. Not much is known of him, except that he sometimes refers to himself as "Grandmaster Abscon" or even "The Hidden God", who, it seems, is worshipped by the so-called "Ordre Secret d'Abscon". From his poetical work one may derive that he is deeply indebted to Early German Romanticism and the French Symbolist Movement, but his music - which is an intriguingly bizarre melange of neofolk, experimental and indescribable psychedelic moments - catapults the splendour and strangeness of his poetry into realms unknown. There is undeniably a certain sensuousness in his voice that some might even describe as sex appeal, but he can turn into a hissing demon from one moment to the next and is often supported by the angelic chant of Véra W'r..H.

FORKYSFIXED.jpg

Forkys

Forkys formed 2000 years after the year defined as “Zero”, by Dominique A. (performer and musician) andVril(sound engineer and designer). They chose for their band a name from the pantheon of Ancient Greek gods.Forkysused to be the God of Water (like Poseidon) and He was the father of many mythological monsters. .... As His sentiments vary from the extremely calm to the absolute angry, like the sea waves do, the band’s compositions reflect several moods, also. Gothic, industrial, electro, ambient, even medieval songs have already been produced, published and performed live. Cool melodies and hard beats, physical instruments and synthesizes sounds, ethereal and distorted vocals co-exist in every release. This is the world of Forkys and you are welcome in!.

Garden In Black

Theodore Kolsouzoglou’s project GIB was formed in Athens, Greece during 2000 and after several demo CDs and a handful of live dates, Dead Scarlet Records finally release his self-titled debut album. Largely based around driving danceable rhythms and digitised vocals, Kolsouzoglou’s music has a slightly retro analogue feel with synthetic spoken word lyrics about love, fear, loss and pain. Far from being melancholic however, his music ranges from gothicelectro-pop to dark dance, the robotic voice lending an oddly detached emotion to the mood. On the lighter, poppier side of things are the catchy 80’s influenced 25th of September and The Haunted Song. There is also a 12th unlisted track that is based around dubby beats, acoustic guitar and a womans ecstatic groans that are somewhat detached from the theme of the main album and probably why it is included as a bonus track.

An electro-ambient project by George D. Stanciulescu, known as the mastermind behind the dark neoclassical act Ad Ombra. Levant's music uniquely oscillates between the aesthetics of refined electronica, classy orchestral touches, ethereal, ethnic and sacred music infusions, catchy uptempo beats, fantastic guitar work, all wrapped in an one of a kind atmospheric perfume. LeVant's debut album, "Beyond the masque of Eden" will be released in 2011 on Dead Scarlet Records, containing 11 tracks of charming poetic darkness .

Man And Machines

Man and Machines breakthrough in the industrial music scene was spawned in 2006/2007 with their first offical self titled ep release "Man and Machines". With promising reviews and several interviews, Man and Machines started to gain an underground fan base. Man and Machines played shows/toured regularly through 2006-2009 while opening up for such acts as Genitortures, Psyclon Nine, London After Midnight and many others. With the success of the first ep and gaining slots on compilations being sold all over the world, Man and Machines signed to DSBP and DeadScarlet Records in 2008 to release their debut "Analog Hearts, Digital Minds" worldwide. After gaining a decent following in the U.S.A Man and Machines relocated from Orlando, FL to Philadelphia, PA in late 2009 and are currently working on their second release. The second album entitled "The New Flesh", which will be released sometime in 2011, will be something different than previously released with elements in the music such as more guitars, organic sounds, acoustic instruments and layered textures. Stay tuned for more from Man and Machines and keep on the lookout for a most punishing and gruesome release called "The New Flesh".

Mani Deum

Debut release from this Greek Neofolk / Folk Noir / Neo-Cabaret / Experimental act, apparently created as an homage to Current 93. Their sound has gradually changed to incorporate different music styles, playing with folk-rock elements. A dark and gloomy atmosphere, quite heavy and dramatic - at times reminiscent of Sonne Hagal or Svarrogh (who collaborates on a bonus track). Ltd x 500 copies in a luxury digipak.

2 years after their first ep "Five infected Blessings", Mani Deum release their full album with

ollaborations of Matt Howden, Maxi Nil, Babis Nikou and Piotrek Noiroiseaux.
