Originally formed in Athens in 2004, Glimmer Void started working on experimental ideas to create songs that combine ethereal female vocals with dark atmospheric melodies. The process of recording began no sooner than the year 2006 and the result of it was the debut EP “SOULS PARADE” on limited digipack edition, consisting of 5 tracks, and is out thanks to DEAD SCARLET RECORDS(http://www.deadscarletrecords.com).
In June 2009, the band took part in the first neo-folk festival in Greece, "Absinthe Festival", where the bands Spiritual Form(IT) and Rome(LUX) took part as well.
In May 2010, there was the release of their second album(full-length) "PRELUDE TO OBLIVION" that has clearly neo-folk influences, by Dead Scarlet Records.
