SOUTH OF NO NORTH- “RAJAH”
Η Dead Scarlet Records ολοκληρώνει τις επανεκδόσεις των άλμπουμ των South of No North με το δίσκο “Rajah” που κυκλοφόρησε για πρώτη φορά από την Wipe Out! τo 1992 και περιείχε τελευταίες ηχογραφήσεις αλλά και παλιότερα ακυκλοφόρητα τραγούδια. Το “Rajah” ήταν το τέταρτο και τελευταίο άλμπουμ του γκρουπ, η τότε κυκλοφορία του οποίου σηματοδότησε το τέλος ηχογραφήσεων και εμφανίσεων, μέχρι το reunion show των South, το 2003, στο Gagarin 205.
Οι South of No North σχηματίστηκαν το 1983 και ξεκίνησαν τις ζωντανές εμφανίσεις τους ένα χρόνο αργότερα, οπότε και κυκλοφόρησε και ο πρώτος τους δίσκος “Lacrimae Christi”. Ο ήχος τους είναι σκοτεινός, μελωδικός και μελαγχολικός, επηρεασμένος από συγκροτήματα όπως οι Bauhaus, οι Joy Division ή οι Stranglers.

SOUTH OF NO NORTH- “RAJAH”
Dead Scarlet Records completes the series of re- editing South of No North’ s work, with their last album, called “Rajah”. “Rajah” was released for the first time by Wipe Out! in 1992 and included late recordings and also older unreleased songs. “Rajah” was the fourth and last album, and the group stopped recording and performing ever since its release, until their reunion show at Gagarin 205 (Athens) in 2003.
South of No North were formed in 1983 and they started performing in March of 1984. The same year they signed a contract with Creep Records for their first album, “Lacrimae Christi”. Their sound was dark, melodic and melancholic, influenced by groups like Bauhaus, Joy Division, Stranglers etc
